Former Playboy Playmate and B-Movie star Yvette Vickers body was discovered in her Beverly Hills home on April 27, 2011. Her neighbor Susan Savage had not seen her for some time and when she realized cobwebs growing on her mailbox she ventured into Vickers’s home. She came upon a mummified body that is believed to be Vickers. Police say her body could have been there from several months to a year.
LA County coroners are running tests to figure out if it is the 82 year old Vickers remains, and to find the cause of death. Police do not suspect fould play.
Vickers was a Playboy Playmate in July, 1959. She is most notably known for her role as Honey Parker in the 1958 B-Movie classic, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.
