I really enjoyed watching Bret prove everyone wrong. I think he certainly won on his own merits. He did a great job all season long. I was kind of annoyed how Joan Rivers and many others were making it sound as though Bret should get a "sympathy" win. I thought that was unfair because I believe he won more often than Holly, and even when he wasn't PM, he was the one most people turned to. Anyway, I was riveted all season and sad to see it end.
