I am sad to report that Whitney Houston has died today at the young age of 48. It is still unclear how she died, or where she was when it happened, but her publicist, Kristen Foster reported that the singer passed away this afternoon. It is something I really don’t want to speculate about, but I an sure everyone’s mind goes straight to something drug related considering Houston troubled history.
Houston was born to be a superstar. Her mother was gospel and blues singer Cissy Houston, and her cousin was Dionne Warwick. Also, her Godmother was the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin. All the right influences were there from the start.
