This show is about Chris (Will Arnett) and Reagan Brinkley (Christina Applegate) and their new adventure into parenthood.
Till now the Brinkleys like to go out and party into the wee hours of the night. Once their new baby Amy arrives though, that all comes to an end. Regan is a production assistant for the daytime talk show called Ava. This show is a cross between Oprah, Ellen, and mix in some Springer and Povich. Ava (Maya Rudolph) is Reagan’s somewhat out of touch with reality boss and friend who needs to be loved by everyone.
Chris worked at a big-time law firm before little Amy arrived, now he is the stay at home dad. Will Arnett’s perfect portrayal of inept characters continues with this role.
Together they make decent parents…if they could just stop saying how f*@*#*g beautiful and amazing Amy is while they lay and stare at her.
It is a hilariously funny show which should last for a while if for no other reason than the star power of the names involved, and of course the success of Parks & Recreation which was created by the sane group of people.
